An example of a weekend guided walking trip
Arrive Friday evening. Transport can be arranged for groups arriving from abroad. Dinner in evening.
Saturday: Transport by mini bus to Glendalough in the Wicklow Mountains. Walk commencing at approximately 10 am. The Wicklow Way is one of the most popular walks in Ireland and walkers will enjoy panoramic scenery while they cross the main valley floor. This walk from Glendalough to Glenmalure is approximately 14 km with an ascent of 400m. and takes approximately 4.5 hours to complete. The terrain is a mixture of mountain paths, stone gravel paths and broadwalk over soft ground.
Sunday: Transport by mini bus to the Raven Point Loop Walk in Wexford. Walk commencing at approximately 10 am. This walk is approximately 8.50 km and includes fantastic coastal scenery and a chance to see lots of birdlife.
Monday morning: Departure of group.
