What time can I check in?
Check in is from 4 pm on Saturdays.  Weekend guests can check in from 4 pm on Fridays.
 

 

 

What time do I have to check out?
In order to facilitate a thorough cleaning of the houses, we require time between guests departing and the arrival of our next guests and therefore have a strict check out time of 10 am on Saturdays.  Departure times for weekend guests is 4 pm on Sundays and 4 pm on Mondays for bank holiday weekend guests.
 
Is the price based on a per person basis or a per house basis?

The price is based on a per house basis.

How do I book?
Booking can be done online or alternatively, you can contact us directly and we will be happy to assist you in completing your booking.
 
Is the booking system secure?

Our booking system uses Stripe to process transactions. Stripe is an extremely secure payment gateway and has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry

We do not have access to or store any of your credit card details.

When is the balance due to be paid?
The balance is due to be paid 4 weeks prior to your arrival.
 
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Yes, changes to your booking can be made, subject to availability.  Any changes should be notified as early as possible.
Any cancellations must be made in writing. In the event of a cancellation, deposits are non-refundable, however they may be used for a future booking. 
50% of the balance paid excluding the deposit will be refunded if up to 3 weeks’ cancellation notice in writing is received.
20% of the balance paid excluding the deposit will be refunded if up to 2 weeks’ cancellation notice in writing is received.
10% of the balance paid excluding the deposit will be refunded if up to 1 week’s cancellation notice in writing is received.
 
Is a security deposit payable?
Yes, a damage deposit of €100 and an extra cleaning deposit is payable 1 week prior to arrival.  All or the balance of the damage/extra cleaning deposit will be returned within 10 days once an inventory check and an assessment of the house has been carried out.
 
Is it possible to book a week-end break or a short break?
Week-end breaks and short breaks can be booked through out the year with the exception of July and August, when we only accept a minimum 7 day booking.
 
Do we need to bring our own linen and towels?

No, all the houses are equipped with bed linen and towels.

Are there shops nearby?
Wellingtonbridge is only a couple of minutes drive and boasts a large Supervalu supermarket, drapery, petrol station, a pharmacy, a doctor’s surgery, a dentist, an optician, hairdressers and a barber, a postoffice, a hardware store, a pub, a cafe and take-away restaurants.
 
Are there restaurants in the area?
We are located within a 15 minute drive of lots of great pub restaurants.  We would be happy to recommend some of them to you.
 
How far is the beach?
The nearest beach is within a 10 minute drive.
 
Is a cot, high chair and stair gate available?

Yes, just let us know if you need one at the time of booking.

Are pets allowed?
No, unfortunately we do not allow pets as we are a working farm.
 
Is there car parking?

There is loads of parking near to the houses.
