Visitors can enjoy fresh country air and spectacular scenery as they walk along the avenues, woodland paths and the old bridle paths which pass through the woods and alongside the River Corach.  Rosegarland Estate offers a choice of different walks ranging from short leisurely strolls to longer invigorating walks.

Younger visitors will also enjoy the fairy village in the woods.

Nature lovers are afforded a chance to spot a unique array of fauna and flora.  Badgers, pine martins, buzzards, hawks, king fishers, wood peckers, to name but a few can be spotted throughout the estate. One special treat for visitors not to be missed is the annual dawn chorus. The changing seasons can be enjoyed in Rosegarland from the sea of bluebells throughout the woodlands in late spring to the ripening corn fields in the summer to the wonderful colour of the trees throughout the estate in the autumn.

While away some enjoyable hours fishing for river trout from the river banks in the woods. The local area around Rosegarland is also particularly well known for its bass fishing.  Slade, Bannow, Cullenstown and the Estuary in Barrystown are all within easy driving distance of Rosegarland Estate.
