Walking

Visitors can enjoy fresh country air and spectacular scenery as they walk along the avenues, woodland paths and the old bridle paths which pass through the woods and alongside the River Corach.  Rosegarland Estate offers a choice of different walks ranging from short leisurely strolls to longer invigorating walks.

Younger visitors will also enjoy the fairy village in the woods.

Nature

Nature lovers are afforded a chance to spot a unique array of fauna and flora.  Badgers, pine martins, buzzards, hawks, king fishers, wood peckers, to name but a few can be spotted throughout the estate. One special treat for visitors not to be missed is the annual dawn chorus. The changing seasons can be enjoyed in Rosegarland from the sea of bluebells throughout the woodlands in late spring to the ripening corn fields in the summer to the wonderful colour of the trees throughout the estate in the autumn.

Fishing

While away some enjoyable hours fishing for river trout from the river banks in the woods. The local area around Rosegarland is also particularly well known for its bass fishing.  Slade, Bannow, Cullenstown and the Estuary in Barrystown are all within easy driving distance of Rosegarland Estate.

Wexford is renowned for its beautiful sandy beaches and several beaches are within a short drive of Rosegarland Estate. In particular:

Cullenstown Beach
Cullenstown, Co. Wexford. Green Coast award and car parking on beach.

Duncannon Beach
Duncannon, Co. Wexford. Designated bathing area.  Lifeguard on duty during summer months.  On beach parking.

Bannow Island
Bannow, Co. Wexford. 15 minute drive from Rosegarland Estate. Nice sandy beach. Car parking beside beach.

Blackhall Beach
Bannow, Co. Wexford. 10 minute drive from Rosegarland Estate. Nice beach. Car parking beside beach.

Dollar Bay and Booley Bay
Duncannon, Co. Wexford. Two secluded beaches located beside each other on the Duncannon to Hook Head Road.  Booley Bay is a Green Coast beach.
 
Baginbun Beach
Fethard, Co. Wexford. Attractive, clean, quiet and secluded beach.
 
Grange Beach
Fetherd, Co. Wexford. A green coast beach.
